Toph!

So Saturday Shane had heard about a dog at the point which he thought was a weiner dog so he went to see her. Well she sure is not a weiner dog, she was actually a Doberman Pintcher/Austrailian Shepherd mix... course Shane is a sucker and fell in love so we have a new member to our family. Her name from the shelter was Shilo... not quite my kind of name so I changed it to Toph (Toff) named after a character in the cartoon Avatar. Today has been a rough day with her, I went to pick her up from the vet around 330 and was there for about 40 minutes because they were SO busy!! Poor girl isn't feeling well after her surgery. Can't really tell yet if the other dogs like her but they don't seem to mind. She kept trying to sleep in Capri's bed and I fianlly got her to sleep on her own next to me on the floor lol.

Other part of the good news!! Shane asked our roommates to move out!!! We are not trying to buy a house anymore we're just going to stay in our rental (which is owned by his parents) until we can work toward something better. While we're here we will be remodeling to make it the way we want it to be and possibly buying it for ourselves then using it as our own rental but we'll see how all of that goes. Mostly I'm excited to finally live on our own!!!

As far as my goals go... they're going, slowly but surely! I'm finally in the groove of my bedtime routine. So much that when I got home late last night from the Avs game at midnight I still washed my face, brushed my teeth, and took my vitamins. What I'm falling back on pretty hard is my two bottles of water a day and writing Chelsea every month! I'm getting there though, right now my main focus is school and Lindsey... her and I have some major grades to pull up!!!!
